Rashad Ramzan, PhD

Dr. Rashad Ramzan merges world-class academic credentials, entrepreneurial vision, and deep engagement with technological innovation—making him a passionate visionary leader for exponential growth in the knowledge-based innovation ecosystem.

Educated in Pakistan, Sweden, Germany, and the USA (earning a B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. in electronics engineering), he has published over 60 journal articles and conference papers, holds 10+ U.S. patents, and earned two Best Paper and Chancellor Innovation Awards. His ISSCC-published LNA design highlights the real-world technical impact of his inventions and international recognition.

By founding the ICD Lab at FAST-NU (2018) and establishing Pakistan's first MS IC Design Program and GF-METRC design center (2021), he has managed and supervised dozens of tape-out projects, industry-university collaborations, and over 70 skilled IC design graduates now working globally.

As CEO, Rashad combines strategic leadership with proven execution in startups, education, and IP commercialization. He co-founded Enabling Technology in 2000—raising $14M in Silicon Valley funding to build Pakistan's first SoC for media and VoIP—and launched PI Invent in 2019, securing ~15 U.S. patents from client-driven R&D across U.S. and Saudi Arabian markets.
